La TE449 è equipaggiata con un propulsore d’avanguardia bialbero a 4 valvole che ha goduto di importanti aggiornamenti grazie all’esperienza maturata da Husqvarna in tanti anni di attività racing nel fuoristrada. Il sistema ad iniezione elettronica è gestito da corpo farfallato della Kehin con doppio flap e 46 mm di diametro per una risposta al comando del gas lineare e sfruttabile. L’equipaggiamento è al top. Infatti la moto viene venduta con due silenziatori di scarico: quello omologato Euro 3 montato sulla moto originariamente e uno scarico Akrapovic Racing in acciaio, sviluppato in collaborazione con la Casa slovena per ottenere le migliori prestazioni in termini di peso globale del terminale, potenza e sfruttabilità del propulsore.

La frizione è a comando idraulico e permette un disinserimento più dolce e graduale con una grande modulabilità anche sotto stress.

La moto è dotata di avviamento elettrico di grande capacità e grazie alla potente batteria unita all’impianto di iniezione è superfluo il montaggio di un pedale di avviamento supplementare.
