Beside his great triumph at the Superbiker Mettet race, Husqvarna SMR449 rider Mauno Hermunen won the German title in the S1 class. Thanks to dominating the whole series during the season Mauno was unreachable in the lead of the Championship standings and could go to Mettet. After winning the series in 2010 with a comfortable lead this is the second year in a row where he dominates.
