In the ninth round of the AMA
Grand National Cross Country series in Ohio, FAR Husqvarna racers Jason Thomas
and Morgan Moss fared well in the XC2 class. Thomas was positioning himself to
battle for the lead on his TXC250 at the end of the first lap, but had a hard
crash in the creek crossing on the second lap, and fell back two positions.
Fortunately his skill and perseverance paid off, and Thomas was able to battle
his way back up to third place by the end and put his Husqvarna on the podium.
His hard-fought finish let him retain his strong second-place in XC2 points chase.
Moss had some challenges of
his own, but like his team-mate, he kept pushing and
carried on to a strong finish. Moss ran as high as sixth place but lost a
position after a crash. The FAR Husqvarna racer got back into his groove on the
last lap and crossed the finish line in seventh.
