During the whole weekend in every session Hermunen took part with his SMR449 he could be found in the top 5. In the Supermoto final in a tight race Mauno secured the victory just 5 seconds in front of the Frenchmen Sylvain Bidart and Thomas Chareyre. The GNCC was held in in St. Clairsville,OH last weekend for its 12th round. Jason Thomas on his Husqvarna had a good start and was leading the whole field for the first few miles. After they entered the forest Thomas chose the wrong line and got stuck in a mud hole. After struggling 2 Minutes to get his bike free he continued racing in 8th position. In a sensational comeback Jason overtook his competitors one by one to finally finish 3rd. This podium finish keeps the gap to the Championship leader close enough to still have a realistic chance for the title in the last three races.

One week after winning the World Championship Title in the E1-class Husqvarna rider Juha Salminen kept on going to win the Spanish E1-title. In the penultimate event in Becerrea he finished third and the gap between him and Championship leader Lorenzo Santolino is only five points, so with a little bit of luck he has a good chance to win a second title this year. In the E3-class Husqvarna's Bartosz Oblucki showed again his good form and did a very good race. The only man who was able to beat him was E3-championship-leader Oriol Mena.
