It was Cervellin's first experience on a hard-packed track, made even harder than usual due to the rain. In the first moto, Cervellin was forced to retire when a stone damaged his chain and sprockets, but in the second Moto Andrea secured his first points with a 19th place that put him in the MX2 standings for the first time on the TC250.

There was also a good performance from Alessandro Lupino, who finished 15th and 14th in the two motos - two good placings which put him 16th in the overall standings, with a gap of just four points to 13th position.

The FIM Motocross World Championship travels to Brazil next, where the fourth Grand Prix of the season will take place on 22 May.
