We’re Buzzing about the Inaugural New Zealand HUSKY TREK Pines Peak

It’s been a full week now since day one on the bike, but we’re still buzzing about the inaugural HUSKY TREK NZ!

Straight into it on day one from New Plymouth to Waitomo, with some challenging farmland and bush tracks which saw the riders all help each other through, making the big day all worthwhile with plenty of stories to share at the end of it.

The first event of its kind in New Zealand, the Husky Trek offers 701 Enduro and Norden 901 riders the chance to experience their bikes on some outstanding North Island adventure tracks.

The 2022 Husky Trek New Zealand riders were treated to another sensational day of adventure riding through the luscious King Country region from Waitomo to Taupo.

With tracks ranging from flowing metal roads to more fantastic farmland and forest tracks — complete with a catered lunch at a private farm and an incredibly hard 10+ chili section that had the entire group work together to get through! Thankfully it was only short!

We wrapped up 900km and three days of epic adventure riding, day three of the 2022 Husky Trek New Zealand delivered a fantastic finale for riders!

Plenty of flowing forest tracks and technical single-line through cutover forestry made for smiles all around at the end of the day.

A fantastic experience for the Husky New Zealand riders… we can’t wait for the 2023 event already!
