Developed with a clear objective of maximising performance without compromising rideability, the completely redesigned engine combines stronger acceleration with precise control across the rev range.
Featuring a higher compression ratio, a 14,500 rpm limit and an advanced intake and fuel-injection system, the result combines exceptional peak performance with precise controllability and enhanced rideability.
ENGINEERED TO RESPOND
A new oval throttle body, revised intake layout and redesigned valve train work together to deliver immediate throttle response and strong, controllable power. The advanced engine architecture maximises performance while maintaining the smooth and predictable character required to perform at the highest level.
The result is stronger drive out of corners, enhanced acceleration and greater confidence on any circuit.
INTELLIGENT CONTROL
A new Engine Management System processes information faster and more precisely than before, optimising ignition control, fuelling and gear-dependent mapping. New knock-control technology helps protect the engine while enabling advanced mapping strategies to deliver consistent performance across changing conditions.
A redesigned shift drum reduces shift effort, while the updated Quickshifter strategy provides smoother, faster gear changes and helps maintain stability under heavy race loads.
TOP-FEED ADVANTAGE
A redesigned airbox improves airflow and filtration while providing increased protection from dust, mud and water. Integrated within the intake system is a top-feed fuel injector developed from Husqvarna's racing experience at the highest level of motocross.
By positioning the injector further upstream in the intake tract, fuel and air have more time to mix before entering the combustion chamber. The result is improved atomisation, enhanced combustion efficiency and more consistent performance throughout the rev range.
