Engine and gearbox

Powering the Svartpilen 200 is a modern fuel injected, liquid cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke 200 cc twin overhead camshaft engine. The remarkably compact engine provides impressive power and thanks to the balancer shaft, delivers the highest levels of smoothness.The engine is equipped with an electric starter powered by a 12V/8Ah battery and it achieves its peak power of 19 kW (26 hp) with impressive torque suited to urban riding.

Frame

The trellis frame is central to the Svartpilen 200 character and agility. Made from high strength steel using hydro formed tubes and robot welding, the frame is not only strong but also lightweight ensuring nimble handling and detailed feedback to the rider. Designed with specific flex characteristics, the frame works in harmony with the WP suspension to offer a comfortable and confident feel combined with a tight turning circle for ease of use in urban environments.

Brakes

The Svartpilen 200 is fitted with hydraulic ByBre brake callipers, which are manufactured to the highest standards, and in combination with 320mm front and 230mm rear perforated steel discs, deliver controllable and confident braking performance. Additionally, a state-of-the-art Bosch ABS system ensures the highest level of safety in varying braking conditions.
