Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia is thrilled to announce the return of the Husqvarna Trek in 2025, now in its sixth exciting year. This time we’re returning to one of Australia’s most iconic riding regions the High Country of Victoria.
Running from Sunday November 23rd to Friday November 28th, the 2025 Husqvarna Trek: High Country is a fully supported, five-day adventure ride for Husqvarna 701 Enduro, 701 Enduro LR, Norden 901, and Norden 901 Expedition riders. Beginning and ending in the scenic township of Merrijig, this unforgettable journey will guide participants through a mixture of terrain, forest trails, flowing rivers, and alpine landscapes.
Whether you’re just starting your off-road adventure journey or you’re a seasoned rider seeking a fresh challenge, the Husqvarna Trek offers two route options to suit your experience. The Main Route is ideal for newer riders looking for a confidence-building adventure, while the Hard Routes offer more technical terrain for those wanting to push their limits.
Places are limited to ensure each rider gets the full Husqvarna Trek experience, complete with expert Route Coordinators, Lead and Sweep Riders, and comprehensive technical, medical, luggage, and 4WD support provided by Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia.
The Husqvarna Trek is designed to take the stress out of planning a multi-day ride. All logistics are taken care of so you can focus on what matters most: the ride. Each day’s route will take riders deep into the heart of the High Country, with overnight stops in Bright, Dargo, Dinner Plain, and Beechworth.
From the moment you leave Merrijig, you’ll be riding through a landscape carved by time – towering mountain ranges, tall ash forests, rocky outcrops, and peaceful alpine valleys. With 80% of each day’s ride on dirt, the Trek delivers a near all-off-road experience, only touching bitumen when necessary to access fuel or accommodation.
Keep an eye out for native wildlife along the way, including black wallabies, blue-tongue lizards, and the elusive lyrebird. And don’t worry, the more demanding climbs and descents are reserved for those tackling the Hard Routes.
