Aussie Jarred Brook Competing in the FIM World Flat Track Championship

Aussie Jarred Brook is set to take on the best of the best at the 2023 FIM World Flat Track Championships. The first Aussie to be competing in flat track on the world stage, Jarred will race his first round this weekend in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Originating from Gympie QLD, Jarred has been competing in Flat Track for over 12 years. And although he might be new to the world championships, Jarred is certainly not new to high level competition, as his list of achievements suggest. Jarred is a multi-Australian Champion, a 3x AMA amateur championship winner & the first Australian to win the Nicky Hayden horizon award, which is given annually to promising amateur riders in motorcycle racing. Equipped with a solid resume, Jarred is keen to add World Champion to his list of titles.

"Yeah it has been a goal to compete in a world championship, I’ve always wanted to compete against the best riders in the world.  I’m extremely happy and proud to represent my country, family and sponsors on the world stage. The goal is to win."

And to help him achieve his goals is Adventure, Powersports & Outdoors (APO), Jarred’s Husky Dealer who are strongly backing Jarred in his world championship venture.

"I’m very lucky to have a great relationship with Adventure Powersports & Outdoors ( APO ). I wouldn’t be able to contest the championship without their support. They have been very generous in organising a bike for me to race and sending parts over bike parts to the UK. I cannot thank Trent and Alison enough for their ongoing help and support."

In the lead up to the opening round this weekend, Jarred's preparation has been strong, focusing on physical fitness & mental strength. His small team consisting of family, friends, mentor and trainer have been working closely with Jarred to ensure he is well prepared to face each round and the challenges they may present.

Jarred is overall excited, positive, and proud to be representing his country on the world stage and we at Husqvarna Motorcycles are thrilled for Jarred and look forward to watching him compete over the coming weeks.

"My goal for the championship is to do my family, team and country proud. We have all put in a lot of effort and our main goal is to win."

"We have some incredible talent here in Australia and to see these opportunities come to fruition for them is fantastic. Jarred and his father Andrew are a brilliant team, with great experience - I have no doubt they’ll do Australia, and all involved proud. Being the first Australian to compete in this series they are not only racing for themselves but are also paving the way for future generations to follow in their footsteps. It’s a great opportunity and we wish them all the very best of luck." - Kyle Blunden, KTM Group Motorsport Manager
