The Svartpilen 801 achieves its unique, minimalistic style through its scrambler-inspired design. Slim ergonomic bodywork is tightly wrapped around the engine and frame, connecting rider and machine for total control and movement. Its striking colors, LED light ring, tank cover, and skid plate combine to create a distinctive look.

Cadre

The Svartpilen 801 delivers advanced agility and stability through its compact tubular steel frame, with its geometry developed for a new breed of street motorcycle. Strong and light hydro-formed components are laser cut and robot welded to ensure precision and durability while a calculated balance of flex and rigidity offers outstanding feedback.

Éclairage

Integrated front and rear LED lights and turn signals add to the progressive and minimalist design of the Svartpilen 801. Positioned neatly around the headlight, the unique LED ring offers clear visibility in all conditions to make riding safer for the rider and other road users.

Guidon

A lightweight tapered aluminum handlebar, WP steering damper, and forged aluminum triple clamps allow for maximum control and comfort with a steel crossbar hinting at the brand's offroad heritage.

Réservoir

The contoured 3.7-gallon (14-litre) fuel tank is housed inside a unique cover with its shape allowing for both a lower and straighter seat that offers unrestricted movement while riding. A premium aluminum filler cap is finished with a machined Husqvarna Motorcycles logo to complete the look.

Selle

The seat is tapered from the front for easy access and movement while riding. Made from high-quality materials and carefully engineered foam, the seat offers assured comfort and durability with padded, heat-stamped ribs improving traction in wet weather.

02. The thrill

Moteur bicylindre parallèle

The Svartpilen 801 is powered by a 799 cc, parallel-twin engine. State-of-the-art and extremely light, this compact engine offers reliability, durability, and efficiency thanks to a wide range of technical innovations that combine to deliver an outstanding ride.

Easy Shift

Easy Shift is integrated as a standard feature to ensure all upward gear changes are as smooth as possible. Once the EMS registers movement on the gear lever, it momentarily limits power, ensuring seamless upshifts or matches engine speeds when downshifting. For a simplified riding experience, the clutch is not needed when changing gear on the Svartpilen 801.

Modes de conduite

The Svartpilen 801 is equipped with multiple electronic rider aids to improve its usability. Pre-set ride modes offer three different settings - Street, Sport, and Rain. Street is engaged as standard while Sport sharpens the throttle response, giving riders the ability to break traction and steer with the rear wheel. Rain can be activated in adverse weather conditions for a less aggressive throttle response and reduced power output. For the individual setup of throttle response, traction control, and advanced rider settings, a Dynamic mode is available.

Mode anti-wheeling

The Svartpilen 801 features an anti-wheelie mode offering five separate levels of control, from Very Low to Very High, which allow for a specific degree of wheelie. Experienced riders can also switch the mode off completely for complete control of the motorcycle.

Contrôle de traction en courbe

By quickly processing lean angle data from three integrated sensors, Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) is active in all ride modes and comes as a standard feature. This helps the Svartpilen 801 maintain traction through corners and increases safety in all conditions. Alternatively, MTC can be switched off by advanced riders who wish to drift around corners and enjoy a much livelier riding experience.

Régulation du patinage du moteur

Engine braking is controlled by Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) which balances throttle application in the event of high engine drag torque caused by down shifting or abrupt closing of the throttle. The optional MSR function is included in the Dynamic pack and available as a stand-alone extra. It ensures smooth deceleration to afford extra safety, especially in low grip situations, to reassure beginners and experienced riders alike.

Dynamic Pack

Le pack Dynamic en option améliore l'expérience de conduite et révèle tout le potentiel de la Svartpilen 801. Le mode de conduite Dynamic peut être configuré en fonction de ses préférences personnelles. Trois réglages de réponse de la poignée sont disponibles au choix : Street, Sport et Dynamic. Il comprend également 10 niveaux de réglage de l'antipatinage, 5 niveaux de mode anti-wheeling et la régulation du patinage du moteur.

Ergonomie

Carefully designed ergonomics enhance the riding experience. A lower center of gravity and reduced seat height result in a more comfortable and confidence-inspiring riding position while adjustable handlebars, slim bodywork, and aluminum footrests offer a stylish and customizable set-up.

Suspensions

The WP suspension on the Svartpilen 801 delivers advanced performance for urban riding and day-long adventures. The 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge front forks offer 140 mm of travel with easily adjustable compression and rebound damping. The shock offers 150 mm of travel as well as rebound adjustability, and it is directly linked to the diecast aluminum swingarm to offer flex, stability, and easy maintenance.

Freins

Exceptional stopping power comes from a state-of-the-art, J.Juan brake system, with two 300 mm floating front discs and a 240 mm rear disc. Coupled with cornering-sensitive Bosch ABS as standard riders enjoy outstanding safety in all conditions. For when riding on gravel or in dynamic riding scenarios Supermoto ABS can be selected to disengage ABS on the rear wheel. Black anodizing on the calipers with a laser-etched Husqvarna Motorcycles logo provides a premium finish.

Lightweight 17", 5-spoke cast alloy wheels are a design standout of the Svartpilen 801, with a discreetly embedded Husqvarna Motorcycles logo. Strong and stable with clean lines, the wheels are fitted with Pirelli MT60 RS tires, offering outstanding grip and durability on all road surfaces.

A 6-speed sequential gearbox offers quick and precise gear changes. The Easy Shift sensor registers movement on the gear lever to momentarily limit power for smooth upshifts. Glass bead-blasted teeth on the 4th, 5th and 6th gears provide exceptional reliability.

04. The tech

Tableau de bord TFT

A 5" TFT dashboard with a bonded glass screen shows vital information to riders. The travelling speed, fuel level, and the selected gear are all clearly displayed and visible at a glance. It is controlled by the backlight switch cubes on the left side of the handlebar.

Connectivité

With the Connectivity Unit fitted as standard, the Svartpilen 801 provides riders with various features to enhance their riding experience. With a smartphone connected via Bluetooth, music can be played and controlled, and calls can be made or received. The Remote Control Mode (RCM) enables the rider to control the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app with buttons on the handlebar for added safety and simplicity.

Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles

Once downloaded onto a smartphone before riding, the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app offers connectivity and unlimited exploration. When paired with the Svartpilen 801, Turn-by-Turn navigation on your device can be displayed on the TFT dashboard allowing riders to easily follow directions and take the fastest route between A and B.

Entretien

The state-of-the-art parallel-twin engine offers exceptional performance, reliability, and serviceability. Thanks to the advanced engineering techniques used during the assembly of each engine, the oil, oil filter, and air filter only need to be replaced every 15,000 kilometers after an initial oil change at 1,000 kilometers.

Antivol

The Svartpilen 801 has an immobilizer fitted as standard to provide anti-theft protection. This electronic security feature is embedded in the motorcycle and is automatically activated when you turn off the ignition, making it a hassle-free yet effective theft deterrent.

This motorcycle comes with a Premium Manufacturer's Warranty. Riders enjoy up to 4 years of coverage; ride worry-free and experience the thrill of Husqvarna with added peace of mind.
