P2 podium celebrations for Malcolm Stewart at Salt Lake City Supercross finale

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Daxton Bennick claimed a convincing fourth-place finish in 250SX East at the Cleveland Triple Crown on Saturday afternoon, as 450SX teammate Malcolm Stewart raced to seventh overall at Round 14 of the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship. Faced with a technical Huntington Bank Field track layout, Bennick powered his Husqvarna FC 250 Factory Edition to the third-fastest qualifying time despite battling a stomach bug throughout the round. The 20-year-old opened the night with a strong P3 result in the first 250SX outing, before adding fifth to his score in Race 2 as the weather intensified. In the third and final race, Bennick delivered another spirited ride to finish third, securing a well-earned fourth overall. With two races remaining, Bennick sits third in the 250SX East standings. “Qualifying was dry in Cleveland and I felt like I rode pretty well,” reflected Bennick. “The first race was also dry and I was third, but then it rained really heavily in the second one, which made conditions probably the worst that they were. I didn’t start well in that one, but got back to fifth, and then the third race I was P3, but in the end it was a little short of the podium. Overall, I'm excited for next weekend!" Stewart began the day in positive fashion at the third Triple Crown event of the year, qualifying third on the combined 450SX timesheets while displaying strong pace onboard his Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition. Race 1 saw the 33-year-old launch to a strong start and run at the front of the field as he battled among the leaders, climbing to an impressive fourth-place finish by race’s end and continuing his front-running form. Sixth in Race 2 was followed by a slow start to the third and final Triple Crown race, where Stewart braved challenging conditions to claim 12th position, and deliver seventh overall to maintain eighth in the standings with three Supercross rounds remaining on the schedule. “The vibes were high in Cleveland – the crowd was awesome!” said Stewart. “Qualifying was great for me, and then of course we had the Triple Crown with the weather beginning to roll in. I felt really good in Race 1, and then in the second one, I started making some mistakes, with the third one being pretty sloppy after the rain. Daxton Bennick and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing finished with a hard-fought P4 result at Round 13 of the AMA Supercross Championship in Nashville this afternoon, maintaining third in the 250SX East standings. The 20-year-old qualified fifth on the combined 250SX timesheets in Nashville, improving to third in his Heat Race and earning a direct transfer to the upcoming Main Event in difficult, dry track conditions. Equipped with the Husqvarna FC 250 Factory Edition, Bennick launched to the holeshot in the Main Event, executing solid laps inside the top-three positions as the race developed. Bennick held second-place until the closing stages, with a late-race incident eventually seeing him claim fourth position once the checkered flag flew and results were tallied. He retains third in the point-standings with three rounds left to contest in the Eastern Division. “All-in-all, Nashville was good,” Bennick reflected. “It's obviously frustrating since I was in P2 until the last couple of laps... I had a good start to the Main Event, which I was pumped about, then me and [Seth] Hammaker got together, so that is what it is and is part of racing. I'd have liked to have fought a little harder at the end, but we'll learn from this and be better next weekend." 450SX teammate Malcolm Stewart posted the seventh-fastest qualifying time around the hard-packed Nissan Stadium layout, finding comfort onboard his Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition before powering to a strong P2 finish in his Heat Race. An early-race incident proved costly for Stewart, who salvaged an 18th-place finish in the Main Event and he currently sits eighth in the 450SX standings with four rounds remaining in Supercross. “I actually felt great all day in Nashville,” said Stewart. “Both qualifying and the Heat Race went really well, and we just ended up having a little problem in the Main Event – me and another rider came together – and it was just a wrong place, wrong time racing incident. But, at the end of the day, I was glad to be able to finish out the Main Event, and now we'll keep digging and look forward to the next one in Cleveland." Ryder DiFrancesco and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing achieved a solid fifth-place finish at Round 12 of the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship in St. Louis on Saturday night, as Daxton Bennick claimed sixth in the second 250SX East/West Showdown of the season. The 12th round of the SMX World Championship marked the St. Jude Love Moto Stop Cancer race, with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing featuring unique liveries in support of the initiative. Both 250SX riders Bennick and DiFrancesco were in action in Missouri for the second Showdown event of the year, with Bennick qualifying fifth overall on combined times, as DiFrancesco set the 12th-fastest time. Equipped with the Husqvarna FC 250 Factory Edition, DiFrancesco then powered to a P5 result in the 250SX West Heat Race, setting his night up well for the upcoming East/West Showdown Main Event. Starting in 10th position, 20-year-old DiFrancesco pieced together a strong performance throughout the entire 15-minute plus one-lap Main Event, charging up to fifth place in what was an impressive ride in challenging track conditions. With only two rounds of the Western Division left to contest, Ryder D sits fourth in the standings – three points behind third place – as the series resumes at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High on May 2. "I didn't actually feel super-comfortable starting the day in St. Louis," reflected DiFrancesco. "Then, I got better throughout the day – my second qualifying session was improved, and the Heat Race progressed better as it went on. In the Main Event, I didn't get the best start in 10th, but fought my way to fifth while feeling pretty good out there in the challenging conditions. If we start up front and have some clean air, I think we'll do well, so I'm looking forward to both Denver and Salt Lake." For Bennick, he was involved in an early incident during his Heat Race, which ultimately sent him to the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). He recovered to claim victory in the LCQ and lined up prepared to battle in the Main Event. He launched to a start just outside the top 10, also posting a significant charge through the East/West Showdown field, surging all the way to sixth by the time the checkered flag flew. Bennick climbs to third in the 250SX East standings after his St. Louis result, entering next weekend’s Nashville round. "St. Louis was alright for me," commented Bennick. "Qualifying was pretty good – we were P5 overall – and then unfortunately someone tagged me in the Heat Race, which sent me to the LCQ. I did the best I could in the Main Event from the outside gate, fought through the field, and although I made a couple of little mistakes, we were able to salvage a sixth. It's not exactly what I want, so we'll be looking for more in Nashville." Stewart was third on the combined 450SX qualifying timesheets on the technical St. Louis track layout, recording a 55.343s lap-time onboard his Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition. That form continued his momentum following a podium finish at the previous round. The 33-year-old carried that speed into his Heat Race, claiming another well-earned P3 result and a strong gate selection for the Main Event. Stewart started inside the top 10 as the gates dropped and battled for position throughout, securing a well-earned P8 on a track that had become increasingly demanding by night’s end. He also sits eighth in the 450SX standings. "Normally, St. Louis dirt is really good, but it felt like this year was one of the hardest visits here that I have had in my whole career," said Stewart. "This was super-tough, so overall I'm happy to make it out safe, and now we can look forward to next weekend. I felt great here all day, but the track broke down a lot after the Heat Race, which made for a long night – I'm pumped to take this thing on to Nashville."
